Scrubs will be returning to ABC for its ninth season.

ABC has added Scrubs to its 2009/2010 schedule, confirming that Sacred Heart Hospital will stay open at least another year.
The show's dynamic, however, will change considerably as key cast members will be moving on to other projects. It's being reported that we will be seeing some familiar faces for at least some episodes, but that the show will likely focus on the newer interns at the hospital.
