Parks and Recreation given second season
NBC has announced that the comedy will return for a second season.

Parks and Recreation will be returning to the air in the Fall of 2009, and will continue on in its 8:30pm time slot as a lead in to The Office. The Amy Poehler-led show was met with mixed reviews during its first season, but its ratings were apparently good enough for NBC to bring it back.
Look for the premiere on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 8:30pm ET/PT.
