Flashpoint nabs 13-episode renewal

CBS has ordered 13 additional episodes of the police drama.

CBS has announced that Flashpoint has been renewed for a third cycle consisting of 13 episodes.

The network has so far aired 22 episodes of the Canadian police drama, which was spanned over 2 seasons. New episodes, of which nine have already been produced, have already starting airing on Canada's CTV Network.

It is speculated that CBS will start airing new episodes of the show as a mid-season replacement later in the year.
