Solid series premiere for Hellcats

The new cheerleading drama is off to a strong start.

The series debut for Hellcats was an impressive one for The CW, with the show earning a 1.4 rating in the adults 18-34 demographic. 

Per a press release, the show retained 100% of its Top Model lead-in among women 18-34 (2.0/6) and women 18-49 (1.7/5).

While this show could have easily flopped out of the gate, the ratings indicate it could easily get a full season under its belt. We'll know more as the weeks go on, but for now things are looking good for the new show.
