BIG MISTAKE!! That was a really quality show. Good acting and good writing. There is so much inane drivel on TV these days. Memphis Beat was refreshing to watch. I appreciated the morality of the story line and the subtle humor. It did not rely on obscenity and vulgarity. If TNT wont renew lt I hope another network like Fox might pick

Memphis Beat aired its second-season finale last week, which is why there was no new episode tonight.

It has not been cancelled, but the network has yet to announce future plans for the show. Considering TNT announced its second season last September, a third-season could be announced in the next month or two.
