The Apprentice premieres with lowest rated episode ever

The Trump reality competition started its 10th season with the lowest rated episode in show history.

The Apprentice kicked off its 10th season Thursday night, and in keeping with the trend of low-rated premieres this Fall, scored its lowest rated episode in the show's history. The reality series' 10th season premiere earned a 1.5 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, which was 53% below the premiere of The Celebrity Apprentice back in March of 2010.

A low-rated season for the show's return to its regular format could mark the end of the series - or at least a permanent return back to The Celebrity Apprentice.
