Lone Star premieres with dismal ratings

Fox's new drama about a swindler leading a double life does not appear like it will last the season.

The new Fox drama Lone Star premiered Monday night and was met with extremely low ratings for a prime time series premiere. In the adults 18-49 category it scored a 1.3 rating, which makes it a prime contender for early cancellation at this point.

Despite favorable praise from critics, the show has surely not gotten off to the start Fox was hoping for. With the show's numbers unlikely to improve as the season continues, viewers best not get too invested in this new series.
