Medium canceled after seven seasons

The supernatural drama comes to a close in January.

CBS has canceled Medium after seven seasons on the air. The show originally started out on NBC, but was picked up by CBS in 2009 for its sixth and seventh seasons.

The news came today via CBS' Medium message board, where show creator Glenn Gordon Caron made the announcement.

Medium will air its final episode on Friday, January 21, 2011.
