The Young and the Restless renewed for 3 more years

The long-running soap will be on the air until at least 2014.

November 29, 2010

CBS has renewed daytime drama "The Young and the Restless" for three additional years, which will see the show on the air until at least the 2013-2014 television season. A mainstay since 1973, the soap opera has ranked as the top-rated daytime drama for 22 years running.

It was not long ago that NBC renewed "Days of our Lives" for two more seasons; Which translates to Sony Pictures Television coming out a winner in these tough times for soaps, since they produce both series.
