The long-running soap will be on the air until at least 2014.
November 29, 2010
CBS has renewed daytime drama "The Young and the Restless" for three additional years, which will see the show on the air until at least the 2013-2014 television season. A mainstay since 1973, the soap opera has ranked as the top-rated daytime drama for 22 years running.
It was not long ago that NBC renewed "Days of our Lives" for two more seasons; Which translates to Sony Pictures Television coming out a winner in these tough times for soaps, since they produce both series.

How dare you? This is and has been the ONLY Soap that I ever watch! A pox on you all if you take it away now! I have noticed of late however, that the love scenes are becoming a little too steamy! Are they that desperate for ratings? Also, the story line is getting a bit too thin! However, I will never stop watching it unless you take it away!
