The Office Returning For Season 8
The long-running sitcom will return for an eighth season.

NBC has announced that "The Office" has been renewed for an eighth season. Also included in the announcement were comedies "Parks and Recreation" and "Community". 30 Rock, the network's other returning sitcom, was previously given an early renewal late last year. No mention was made of NBC's freshman sitcoms Outsourced and Perfect Couples, which does not bode well for either of their futures.
In the ratings this season, The Office is averaging a 3.7 in adults 18-49.
