Scare Tactics has been renewed by Syfy for a fifth season consisting of 13 episodes, with Tracy Morgan returning as host and executive producer.
The premise of the hidden camera comedy series is to scare the living daylights out of average people by pranking them with scenarios inspired by science-fiction and horror films. Morgan has hosted the show since 2008, with past hosts including Shannen Doherty and Stephen Baldwin.
Production on Season 5 of Scare Tactics is set to begin this spring in preparation for a fall premiere.
