Lifetime is bringing back the military drama for another season.

Lifetime has announced that Army Wives will return for a sixth season consisting of 13 episodes. The news comes as no surprise considering the show's fifth season is averaging 3.7 million weekly viewers and is cable's number one drama in the women 18-49 demographic.

Army Wives follows the trials and tribulations, friendships, and dreams of a group of women and one man living with their spouses and families on an active Army post. The show is currently airing new episodes Sundays on Lifetime and has five episodes left in its fifth season.

This was the BEST shown on TV,it was as close to the real truth of army living as you could possibly show.It was one the whole family could watch.Please bring back ARMY WIVES.

Is this some sick twisted home. To end a series like that. Its unsettling nerve racking and so unfinished. I have watched every episode since the beginng that is not the way a I would have wanted it to end.

My husband and I REALLY enjoy watching Army Wives!! We hope that you bring it back on Lifetime. It is one if not the best show on tv! Not only does it honor our soldiers but the family,it demonstrates real stories that couples,parents and friends can relate too! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!! J&B

I hope they aren't planning to cancel Army Wives it is one of only a few non-trashy, bad acting, foul mouth, bed-hopping whores and boars show that seem to be on television lately. I have watched from the begining getting several friends and family members hooked on this wonderful show. This show has only gotten better and leaves us rooting not only for theses t.v families but for our actual Military men, woman. So please as an avid Army Wives watcher and fan PLEASE DON'T CANCEL OUR SHOW!

Please don't cancel Army Wives...it's the best show. Enough on the reality shows...this is a real show with a great cast and great story.

Why would you cancel a show that makes us thankful for the military troops that protects us everyday? Please do not cancel Army Wives! It is the only show that I have to watch every week.

My family and I love this show. As a military family this is one show that shows some what of what we go thru. I know there are a lot of other fans of this show that would be very disappointed like myself if this show got canceled. Please bring it back for another season. This is one of the few good shows that are on anymore.
