Lie to Me Cancelled After Three Seasons

The behavioral specialist drama will not return next season.

May 10, 2011

Fox has cancelled Lie to Me as part of a barrage of bubble show cancellations late Tuesday. Also axed were Human Target, The Chicago Code, Breaking In, and Traffic Light.

Lie to Me - which follows behavioral specialists aiding clients in lie detection - ends after three seasons on the air. The series premiered in early 2009 as a mid-season replacement airing 13 episodes. It was successful enough during its freshman run to secure a full 22-episode second season and subsequent renewal for a third.

Season 3 of the show, however, was back down to 13 episodes - wrapping up earlier this year with what turned out to be its series finale on January 31.
