ABC has canceled freshman drama Detroit 1-8-7 as part of a flurry of activity that saw seven of the network's shows come to an abrupt end. Also canceled are Brothers & Sisters, V, No Ordinary Family, Mr. Sunshine, Off the Map, and Better with You.

Detroit 1-8-7 premiered last September and was pulling in decent enough ratings that ABC actually ordered five additional episodes of the show a month later, upping its season total to 18.

Unfortunately for the series, ratings started to fall off after that. Over its first eight episodes the show averaged a 1.8 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic. However during its final 10 episodes that average fell to 1.2, likely leading to the network pulling the plug.
