ABC Renews Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

The long-running reality series will return for a ninth season.

ABC announced this week that Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has been renewed for Season 9. The long-running reality series premiered in 2003 and every season helps provide major home renovations and decorations to deserving families.

When the show returns in the Fall it will move from Sunday to Friday nights, airing at 8:00pm followed by Shark Tank at 9:00pm.

The Extreme Makeover brand will also be premiering its new Weight Loss Edition at the end of the month on May 30. Each episode of this upcoming series will follow one participant's year-long journey as they combine diet and exercise to lose an extreme amount of weight.

Sorry to see extreme makeover cancelled although sometimes I thought they went too extreme with cost if they wouldn't have went so extreme could have helped many more people. I thought most of the people helped were very deserving.
