Showtime is not continuing on with the Toni Collette comedy.

Showtime has canceled United States of Tara after three seasons on the air. Currently in its third season, the Diablo Cody-created comedy has four episodes remaining, with its series finale scheduled for June 20.
On the air since 2009, the series was a solid performer for the network in its early goings. Ratings unfortunately started to fall over the course of its run, with this current season's debut being watched by 411,000 viewers compared to 816,000 for last season's premiere.
The bad news comes on the heels of Showtime renewing series Nurse Jackie, which will return for a fourth season.

Ok get real the show was good , but never as good as dexter nor weeds . The plot was going no were , good call show time

Ok so i really loved this show and this is truly disappointing. The way you left the show off was really messed up. I now longer have any reason to watch showtime. You truly suck!!

Showtime you suck for cancelling such an amazing show... the only thing more stupid would be cancelling Dexter. Your all so very dumb. I wouldn't put it past you.

I just learned (six months after the fact) that US of Tara was cancelled...say it isn't so!!! I couldn't be more disappointed! I agree with Star K..."really crappy" of you Showtime just leaving us in the lurch like this! I mean the show had garnered awards, the cast was amazing...couldn't have asked for a better & more unique show. But you'll renew Weeds which has just gotten A-B-S-U-R-D! Goodbye Showtime!

I'm going to have to agree with Tina K. Thats really crappy leaving us fans with an ending like that. The cast and crew deserve better & so do we. Nice Showtime. I won't miss you either. It was the one show I would watch without fail.

How can you cancell the best show on showtime?!?!?!?!, It was getting awards and amazing reviews. I quit....
