Wipeout Renewed; New Co-Host On Tap

The reality series will return for Season 5 with Winter and Summer editions.

ABC has renewed its obstacle course reality series Wipeout for a fifth season, which is set to include Winter and Summer editions for 2011-2012. The network also announced that Vanessa Minnillo will be joining the show as co-host, replacing the departing Jill Wagner. Minnillo has most recently hosted two seasons of another ABC reality series by the name of True Beauty. She will take over co-hosting duties during this Fall's Winter Wipeout.

Look for the upcoming fourth season of Summer Wipeout to kick off on Thursday, June 23 - with a special sneak peek episode on Tuesday, June 21.
