ABC has picked up the summer cop drama for another season.

ABC, jointly with Canadian network Global, have announced that Rookie Blue has been renewed for a third season on both networks. The early pickup comes just four episodes into the show's second season.

Produced and set in Toronto, Canada, Rookie Blue follows five rookie cops navigating the ups and downs of their first year on the force. So far this summer the show has ranked Number 1 in its 10:00pm Thursday time slot among adults 18-49, a key demographic.

Hoping to see this back seen the comment from ljg my husbands age group he loves this show, I am from a youger age group by 15yrs and also love this show want to know when it will be back and watching for it always can not wait to see it again and please do not let this oneend to soon

Damn fine acting from a bunch of young Canucks. Good storie line intertwined with charactor interaction.I am glad it's back. Beats the heck out of the ridiculous crap they are passing off for reality tv.

I am also over the target age for this show but am really impressed with the writers keeping the lives of the charactors intertwined with good story lines. Glad it is still with us. Damn fine acting from a bunch of young Canucks too.

They should call it Rookie Blue Balls - My wife can't wait till it starts back up, but for me it is just more time spent on my computer... Yeah season 3

I am not in your target group; however, as a 62 year old teacher, I am amazed how wonderful this show is. As a teacher, I rarely have time to watch television and if I
am not interested in a show in the first seven minutes, I turn it off. My graddaughter and I will really enjoy watching this together. Drama and character chemistry is a must for television today.

YEAH!!!!! So glad to hear that Rookie Blue will be back!! ... and if it wouldn't have???? What are the exec's thinking??? Hope that the polls show them that they definetly need more of the show!!! More, more , and more episodes!! LOVE IT!
