Merlin Returning To Syfy For Season 4
The network has picked up the fourth season of the fantasy drama.

TV Guide is reporting that Syfy has picked up a fourth season of Merlin after continued ratings success in Season 3. The fantasy drama - a retelling of the famous legend of Merlin - airs worldwide and had already secured a 10-episode fourth season last year for BBC One in the UK.
US audiences will get to continue enjoying the series when Season 4 returns stateside in 2012, thanks to a 12 percent increase in viewership this past season compared to Season 2.

This is one my favorite shows! After the 3/17/2012 show it was advertised the upcoming show before the finale. Is Merlin ending or being cancelled?

My favorite Friday nite show. However, on the 3/16/12 episode when showing previews for next weeks episode, it said that it was the last episode before the "Finale". It didn't say the "season" finale. Is this the last episode? Has the show been cancelled?

Wooooohoooooo for Merlin!!! Love this show!! I hope the series will finish the myth down to Merlin's retirement to a crystal or cage; or imprisonment in the lake of avalon; or whichever the series prefers. :)
