Lifetime announced today that Drop Dead Diva will be returning for a fourth season, with a pick-up of 13 new episodes.
"Drop Dead Diva is a signature series for Lifetime that continues to resonate with audiences with its heart and humor. We are thrilled to bring it back for another season," said network president Nancy Dubuc.
The series, which follows a young model who is reincarnated as an attorney, is nearing the end of its third season - which wraps up on September 25. Over the course of the season it has averaged 2.3 million total viewers and has the distinction of holding the number one spot among women 18-49 in its Sunday 9:00pm time slot for all shows on basic cable.
Look for Season 4 of Drop Dead Diva to premiere in mid-2012.
I agree with everyone! So much reality tv with people fighting over nonsense....who cares! DDD is a great relief from all that mess bring it back sooner.

I love this show I wish it was a regular Sunday night show!! I have been watching since day 1 and that last episode was just not the way it should end!!Can't wait for it to pick up!! It is gone for way to long!! it's like waiting for the next saga of Twilight and Breaking dawn 2 to come out lol!! Just stop taking it away so long!! and I love all the actors they are great!

I cant wait for the new season and am glad to hear it was renewed. I was afraid it was cancelled to make room for the Client List which I did not even want to start watching. The movie was good enough.

I am a older lady but I love the show, so much I cable co lost lifetime sig el so I ordered season 3 on DVD just got it and I loved it .

Why is there such a long break in between seasons? I hate waiting a year to start watching it again.. Its almost not worth watching because you get so used to watching the show and expecting it, then it just stops.. Its like having the rug being pulled ou from under you..

Please bring back DDD soon. I'm having withdrawal symptoms. And please DO NOT LET the KARDASHIAN'S IN THE SHOW!!!! I will not be very happy!!!
