2 Broke Girls Nabs Full Season Order

CBS has picked up the freshman sitcom for a full season.

October 5, 2011

2 Broke Girls is the latest freshman comedy to receive good news this fall. Just yesterday, NBC ordered full seasons of Whitney and Up All Night, and today CBS has followed suit with 2 Broke Girls. The sitcom is the network's first pick-up of the 2011-12 season, earning a full season order of at least 22 episodes.

After premiering in September to a monstrous 7.1 adults 18-49 rating (thanks to the return of Two and a Half Men), 2 Broke Girls has continued to draw impressive numbers in its two subsequent episodes, earning a 4.6 and 4.5 respectively.

@Mike 143??? Really? I would have thought with an IQ so high you would at least be able to spell.

BTW, most shows still use a laugh track so don't hold that against this show. Yes, it's low brow humour, but to me that is what makes it entertaining.

Although, incidently that thank you was supposed to be to CBS... not NBC heh.

Actualy Dave, as someone with an IQ of 143 I think this may be my new favorite show. The script writing may be a little cheeky but point is, it's funny and well done.

No real weight to the issue with the charactors either. You cant tell me that Judith from two and a half men had any real significance. Earl and Han are just supporting caractors to add depth.

Thanks Whitney and NBC for a solid sitcom I'd watch instead of another over played crime show!

Wow, this show is pretty stupid and the laugh track is really annoying. Is this not done by the same guy that did Sex and the City? He should be embarrassed. Maybe if you have an IQ of under 50 and need a laugh track to tell you when to laugh it is for you. But all the sad little jokes and sexual innuendo - combined with characters that don't really appear to serve any purpose like the owner of the diner and the black guy who works the cash? Honestly, someone write something good.

Folks its a comedy sitcom not brain surgery take it for what it is and relax, seriously... RELAX. No need to announce to the world your "intelligent" if you are they'll see.

I had to sit through this garbage during a 5 hour flight. I don't know what's worse, this show or the lousy food during the flight.

Awesome decision.. Come on US, you're a long way from making up for Arresting Arrested Development. 2 Broke. isn't perfect - but it's deserving of a decent run. Come on Season 2 announcement.

I love this show. The blonde reminds me of a poor broke version of Paris Hilton hanging out with a Jenny from the block type of gal.
