FX has renewed comedy series The League for a fourth season. The network has ordered 13 new episodes of the show, which will premiere in the fall of 2012.

“The League continues to be one of our most successful comedy series both creatively and from a ratings standpoint,” said FX's Executive Vice Presdient of Original Programming, Nick Grad. “Jackie and Jeff Schaffer, along with our terrific cast, are doing wonderful work each week to make one of the funniest shows on television and we’re excited to order another season.”

Three episodes currently remain in the show's third season, which is set to wrap up on December 22.
