NBC has picked up its Friday night drama for Season 2.
March 16, 2012
NBC has reportedly given Grimm a second season renewal. That is good news for fans of the freshman fantasy drama, given as how other new dramas on the network have not fared as well this season. Shows like The Playboy Club and Prime Suspect have already fallen by the wayside.
Grimm, however, has been pulling in solid enough ratings on Friday nights for NBC to give it a shot at another season. Its numbers have also remained rather steady over the course of its run rather than suffering from the ratings decline that many shows see as the season wears on. Grimm's average is hovering around a 1.6 in the adults 18-49 demographic, which isn't bad for a Friday night series.

Glad Grimm has been renewed for another season. There's a lot of crap on tv these days, but I always tune into Grimm. If I'm not home, its already set to record on my DVR. Thanks NBC for renewing Grimm.

That is very pleasant to know. I liked Grimm from the first episode, where it had to compete with the expensive 'Once Upon a Time'. People bashed Grimm, wanting it to disappear. But both shows have their own approach and are completly different.

Well, I get another season of one of the only shows I actually like of reality ridden television. Something to look forward to next season.

Grimm is the most imaginative show I've seen in a long time. The cops and killers premise mixed w/people assuming horrible creature features is fascinating. But which is it: cancelled or renewed? Tonite it said final 6 episodes! I screamed like a banshee into tv land!

My husband and I are huge fans of Munroe and we look forward to the new Grimm every Friday. It was a surprisingly involving show. We didn't expect much from the premise but have been pleasantly surprised at how entertaining the story and characters are.
