The drama ends after two seasons.
November 2, 2012
It is being reported that USA Network has decided against renewing Fairly Legal for a third season, making it the second show cancelled by the network this week. New series Common Law was also axed.
Fairly Legal never fully lived up to its potential on USA. The network attempted to re-tool the show after a lacklustre first season, but the changes were not enough to warrant a season 3 pick-up.

I loved this show and I hate to see it go. I watched it at lunchtime, my way to unwind from the morning work and get ready for the mid day work. Y CANCEL FAIRLY LEGAL....

Absolutely loved Fairly Legal and season 2 was great. Love Common Law as well, but understand why that got cancelled. If they touch Burn Notice or Suits, then I will no longer watch USA.

Mike: I agree completely about this show. I'm not sure how you can compare this cancellation to the CW choices (based on a post on Beauty and the Beast) USA was definitely the best fit for Fairly Legal since every show except Suits (in my opinion) are really dramadies which I alsmot always love.
Also Mike, you probably know this and might never see this post, but just in case..... Sarah Shahi does a great job on "Life" which streams on Netflix. That was another idiodic cancellation a few years back, but it is worth checking out if you missed it.
Mandy: As JDintheOC said: Please don't blame this site. I love this site. It is the fastest way to find out what ridiculous thing the networks have done next.
It is to the point that it isn't worth watching a new show until it comes out on disc the next year. That way I'm not so disappointed and furious when they cancel shows I love after a few episodes. Of course that is a double edged sword since due to fear of cancellation then shows are more likely to be cancelled since we don't watch.
Lastly, it took Alex O'Loughlin until his third series to finally find one that is a hit. Moonlight should have made it, but once again the powers that be cancelled a great show. With any luck Sarah will also get cast in another show that shows her quick wit and timing. She certainly deserves to be a household name.
Sorry for the long windedness!

@ Mandy. Don't blame this site for your favorite shows being cancelled, they just report about it. The networks do the cancelling. Write to them instead.

To say I am in shock is to put it mildley. Im really loved that show. I was in a good mood watching it and happy after. What is wrong with the networks. Was the budget to high????? was it in the wrong time slot?????Did someone piss off the wrong people. The cast was good the plot good everything was good, it was gave me a WARM FEELING do not understand. This is another sad day for the people who watched the show., Shame on the network. May the mucky mucks that make these decisions get fired////soon.
