The Good Wife Renewed For Season 5

The legal drama will return for the 2013-2014 season.

March 27, 2013

CBS announced today that it has renewed The Good Wife for a fifth season. The critically acclaimed, award-winning series has continued to pull in decent, if not spectacular, ratings on Sunday nights, where it has been airing since its third season.

Today's announcement included renewals of a large portion of the CBS primetime line-up for the 2013-2014 season. Other dramas receiving pick-ups today include Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-0, Elementary, Person of Interest, and NCIS: Los Angeles. Notables still awaiting news include CSI:NY, Vegas, and Criminal Minds.

UPDATE: Season 5 of The Good Wife premieres on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 9:00pm.

Please put the show back during the week. Sunday is a terrible time. The football games run so late that the show comes on sometimes as late as 11:00pm.I think the show is the best on tv but I think you will lose a lot of viewers because of it coming on so late.

Is Season5 over? The last show wasn't much of a season finale!
