The Kiefer Sutherland drama will not return.
May 9, 2013
Fox has cancelled Touch after two seasons. The sophomore drama had been considered a bubble series for the bulk of its run, failing to draw significant numbers in the ratings.
The Touch series finale airs tomorrow night, May 10, 2013.

I really enjoyed Touch and am genuinely sorry to see it cancelled. I think the story did get bogged down. And for some reason, it was hard to watch Keifer Sutherland play Martin Bohm as an exposed and vulnerable character. I kept waiting for his inner Jack Bauer to break out. Oh well. It looks like we will be seeing Jack again, after all.

I'm not surprised this show was cancelled. I enjoyed it, but I could see the writing on the wall. The pacing was far too slow at times, and it was never truly gripping. I'm just glad they ended the second season with an acceptable series finale rather than throwing in a cliffhanger so they could gamble on another season, like far too many series do.
Also, Jimmy, your "24" conspiracy theory is laughable. Have a look at Touch's ratings. It doesn't take an industry insider to figure out why this show wasn't renewed.

They only cancelled this show cause Kiefer Sutherland doesn't want to spend money on the show and wants to make money with 24 since FOX wants him back.
Someone I know heard about this and spoke to an entertainment reporter who said to him that FOX said you can't do two shows so drop one and Kiefer Sutherland chose to drop Touch.

Thanks Fox! I really got into four shows this season and they were all cancelled! No wonder TV ratings are down and the kids have turned to social networking as a hobby! I need to take up knitting or something! WOW!!!!!

I am really sorry this show was cancelled, I enjoyed it. Please do not do anymore cartoons or singing shows, they get boring after a while. There is really nothing entertaining for me on TV and that is kind of sad.

I am sad that Touch has been axed. Unlike most comments here, I preferred season 2 over season 1. With S1, I did not like the randomness of everything - one example was the 2 Asian girls with the phone. I kept hoping for the show to get better. When S2 began, I got my wish!! It was more fast paced and had a story to follow!!! I will miss this show!!!!

After reading all of the cancelled shows the last few weeks...this one hurts me the most. I truly loved this show..season 1 and season 2. I looked forward to it every single week and I am crushed that I don't get to learn more about Jake and Amelia. Bad move, Fox. I guess it's time for another cartoon in that time slot.

Timmah said it best. Season two lost sight of those little intricacies that made Season one so interesting. Nevertheless, I still liked this show and am bummed to see it go. Sutherland is such an interesting actor....and the kid that plays Jake is showing himself to be worth keeping an eye on in the future..
