Only the original CSI remains on the air.
May 10, 2013
CBS has cancelled CSI: NY after nine seasons on the air. The crime procedural was the third installment in the CSI franchise and ends one year after CSI: Miami was axed after its 10th season.
The original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation remains on the air, and will enter its 14th season in 2013-2014.

The CBS decision makers are idiots!! They take the good shows off and put junk on. They need to renew CSI-NY and CSI-Miami NOW ! What are they thinking?
And may I add -- Criminal Minds and CSI Las Vegas are getting a lot too gory and scarey. Time to pull back on all the frightening stuff and return to good writing.

I am very disappointed in all television right now because of the changes made from entertaining television to unreality shows. It would appear that CBS has joined the ranks with other networks to force us out of Friday nights as there is nothing worth watching on television. I truly looked forward to CSI NY each week. I am at the point that I will cancel my cable and my cell phone and do what we used to do, socialize with my friends and neighbors.

Yes, let's cancel CSI: NY and keep, survivior, the amazing race, and all the other crap shows that CBS airs. CSI: NY, Blue Bloods, and SEC college football are the only shows I watched on CBS. Guess I will be watching more, A&E, Food Network, TLC, etc. Thank goodness for U-verse and the DVR feature.

I agree with the majority of the comments left. At least the ones that do not want the show cancelled. Friday nights will not be the same. CSI NY and Blue Bloods. Why don't these networks understand not all of the ,world goes out on Friday night, some of us look forward to good TV and relaxation.

CBS just lost me as a viewer. CSI NY was just as good if not better than the original. The original is getting long in the tooth and the stories were getting ridiculous. They should have cancelled the original. I guess you needed the room for the stupid reality shows you've been airing. Good bye.

How can they cancel CSI NY? It was a great show. I agree with Courtney. CBS now has crap on.
