ABC has renewed Scandal for a third season. The Shonda Rhimes political drama has come into its own since premiering in April 2012 for a short 7-episode run. Its pickup for Season 2 improved on that with an order for 13 episodes, and that was further topped up by the network to a full 22 last October.

Scandal is very fast paced and the characters are interesting in their own individual way. I'm glad the show is returning. My husband and I watch and discuss the show and I like the communication that it brings to our marriage. I do hope the gay activity go away, but I like Sy.

I am happy that the show has been renewed for season 3. I am feeling sad that I have not seen or heard of Columbus Short as the cast makes its rounds. Is Harrison being written out? Why is he not having more lines?

Great show. It is officially the only political drama I have ever watched! Love the drama, and yes... I have the hots for Fitz! Who wouldn't?
