NBC has renewed Community for a fifth season. Fans will surely be pleased with this news, as many speculated that the current season would be the show's last. Signs included the dismissal of creator and showrunner Dan Harmon after Season 3, as well as a shortened episode order for Season 4.
13 new episodes have been ordered for Season 5 of Community.

So their community college offers graduate degrees? How can we be on season 5? They should've graduated by now. This show is dumb, never liked it. Focus on The Soup, Joel.

Part of me wonders if this was renewed just because everything else is ending or has been cancelled. Community hasn't been funny since season 1. They should re-title this show to "How will we jump the shark this week?" Every episode is merely ludicrous.
