BBC America's original drama will not return.

BBC America has decided to cancel Copper after two seasons on the air. The period drama was the cable network's first original scripted drama, but ultimately failed to attract a large enough audience in its second season.

BBC you are making a mistake cancelling Copper. It is a gritty historical piece so much better than most dective shows. I watch everything BBC - news, Donton, and your other cop show. Fist found BBC with Galactica which was excellent and as good as StarTreck was! Come on, bring back Copper, its your brand, historical drama. Txs for coming to America.

Really BBC America your going to end Copper like that season two ended with a cliffhanger. Netflix you guys need to take over and get it going again it just can not end the way it did. We need answers!!!

Netflix needs to take this production over! I'm so pisst! BBC should have stuck it out for one final season, at least we all would have bought a Trilogy... now it's like like an unfinished story if we buy just 2...

My husband bought season 1 and 2 for me to watch.....and that I did. DAMN....now he tells me it's cancelled because it wasn't popular? Who didn't do their research....It was on Thursday evenings! Here in the USA we watch Football on Thursdays...SO very disappointed. I think you should get back to your planning and get this figured out. People love this show but you need to put it on say Tuesday...or Wednesday.....I'll still hold out hope......DAMN....

The one network I thought respected artistic value over mediocrity just let me down. With decisions like this, BBC will go no where in this country because it has no other way to separate itself from the other crap on TV. Andrew Jackson is laughing in his grave now as the British are again driving themselves out of the US via stupid decisions. Hopefully, a more intelligent network picks this amazing show up.

HUGE disappointment for this COPPER cancelation. I DVR the episodes and never erase them, can watch them over and over and never be bored. Am bummed out about this, only hope is that BBC keeps "Ripper".

I am in shock...canceling a great show...I was looking to see when the 3rd season would begin and I am very disappointed you all have decided to cancel Copper...I hope you all change your mind and bring it back...
