Love, love, love. The writing is terrific and the characters are perfectly played. Hilarious as I lived those years!!! Very clever!

Finally!! A show that has a moral at the end of the 30 mins... I absolutely love this show! It is great! I especially love the real clips at the end! Great touch!

One of my new favorite shows. I always add extra time to the end of my DVR to make sure I get to see the video that the episode is based on. This show brings back so many good memories for me.

The creator has a VHS video from real dates in the 80's. If clothing is not correct, its not because they don't know and didn't try to get it in the correct sizes of the actors. Some things just don't get delivered before filming schedule.

I am a HUGE GOLDBERG'S Fan....and I think the fact that each episode can take place at ANYTIME in the 80's is genius!

@Wrong - I believe it was done intentionally. The show doesn't take place in any given year, but any episode could make references to anything that was current at any time in the 80s.
I would think this offers more flexibility to the writers, and doesn't limit them in any way

I liked this show, until I cannot, for the life of me... find out what year, this show takes place in!?!?!?
There 80's references are off. Some from the early 80's, some from the mid, and some even into the 90's.
For example. Reebok Pumps. Came out in 1989.. but was only available to a very elite few. Did not come into the mainstream until the early 90's... Yet on this show, it was like Reebok Pumps, were already "in", for a few years already.
I can go on, with the dating of the show... It is confusing... Or is this just bad research on the writers end?
Anyways... They need to get their 80's references up to par... and date the show correctly.
