NBC has ordered 13 episodes of the cancelled drama.

NBC announced today that cancelled sci-fi drama Heroes is being revived for a new event miniseries. The peacock network has ordered 13 episodes that will comprise a stand-alone story arc with the title Heroes Reborn.

The miniseries is scheduled to debut sometime in 2015, with the show's original creator, Tim Kring, running things.

Oh my goodness, Yayyyyyy my favorite show is back. Can not wait for it's return and hope it returns for many more seasons. I have missed this show alot and often speak of the show

They need a new cast, new start, and for God sakes, everyone needs to get over Syler. Great Villian, but no faith that a new challenge can present itself in a way that he isn't needed to carry the series on. The world was saved along with the cheerleader. Let's hope that the reboot can have the same spirit that season 1 did.
