In a recent press release, Fox announced that new series Rake will be moving to Friday nights. The time slot shift begins on March 14, which will be the show's eighth episode since its premiere in late January.
The freshman drama has gotten off to a slow start on Thursdays, where it most recently dropped to a 0.8 rating among Adults 18-49, which is markedly down from its premiere rating of 1.7.
Rake will air one more episode this week in its original Thursday time slot before making the switch next week.

The kiss of death. I kind of like this show but this move means it's days are numbered. No second season.

hope the change helps ratings. It is a good show with a terrible name.
