NBC announced today that it has renewed Chicago Fire for a third season. The sophomore drama has continued to perform well during the 2013-2014 season, pulling in stronger numbers than its debut season after a move from Wednesday to Tuesday nights.
The peacock network has also renewed spin-off Chicago PD, which premiered earlier this year.
UPDATE: Season 3 of Chicago Fire premieres on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 10:00pm.

Thankfully Chicago Fire will return for another season. I do not miss this show or Chicago PD. These are two of the best shows being televised.

I love this show, watch it every week, even my 8yr. old son is glued in front of the t.v. when it comes on.

I'm so happy to hear Chicago Fire will return for season 3. I do love Tuesday nights only to watch'em.

Yeah!!!! Wonderful...I love this show, very exciting. It has cute guys and nice sound...but they should do something about the chief's girlfriend "Donna"? she needs some serious fillers..please people, take care of that...
