The comedy's run has been cut short.
March 26, 2014
With Fox's announcement of its spring & summer premiere dates, Enlisted's run will be ending earlier than expected, effectively cancelling the struggling comedy. The schedule, announced today, includes the season premiere of Kitchen Nightmares on Friday, April 11 at 9:00pm - the time slot where Enlisted currently resides.
As it stands, Enlisted is still scheduled to air new episodes for the next two Fridays in the 9:00pm time slot. That leaves three of the show's 13 ordered episodes left unaired. Fox has made no mention of if or when these episode will be shown.

you have got to be kidding. Fox can keep some worthless garbage show like Glee but gets rid of a decent show like Enlisted? Are you kidding me? This is why I never watch television. Anything that is actually worth watching gets cancelled after 2 weeks.

i did not like this show because i felt it belittled the experiences of the war. being in afghanistan is not funny and shouldn't be made light of. soldiers come back with ptsd, catastrophic injuries, or not at all. this show was in poor taste.

This makes the second Geoff Stults series to be cancelled after one season, the Finder was the first. On the plus side, maybe Parker Young will return to Suburgatory (unless it gets cancelled too)

i don't understand why people complain that shows get canceled when they make no money. Television is a business, people. If the business was making birdhouses instead of TV shows, and you created a new birdhouse that nobody wanted to buy, leaving you with inventory that will never sell... would you just keep making more of them because you thought it was a good design? They have to cut the cord on shows that are losing money. That's how it always has been and how it always will be. I enjoy this show, but getting outraged about a clearly good business decision is an exercise in futility.

So long fox. Enlisted was such a great show, it reminded me of a modern M*A*S*H. It was funny, but also has some very touching moments. Considering the ONLY reason I was willing to give fox a chance was because of Enlisted, you can now consider me gone, never to return.

I read an article that Fox is trying to find a new time slot for this show. They are hoping an earlier time may help ratings, but said they weren't saying goodbye to this show all together just yet. I believe they don't want to let viewers down with this one, of course because of what it's about, but also a lot of letters they have been getting from people about the show. I'm not ready to believe 100 percent this show won't be aired again.

This is precisely why I will not watch any further Fox entries on TV. They bring out a show, give it a few weeks then axe it because it doesn't immediately make Fox Execs a boatload of money. I'm tired of getting interested, then.....So long, suckers!

uh, not kid-friendly enough for disney, j.
and actually, as it stands, it is not scheduled to air in the 9 o'clock slot for the next two fridays as it states in the above article, because raising hope's series finale takes up that slot next week.
also, the two younger brothers (parker young and chris lowell) are f*ing hot...hopefully they do more work (with less clothing).
