TBS has ordered another round of the reality competition.

TBS announced today that King of the Nerds has been renewed for a third season. The competition series wrapped its second season back in March, where it averaged a healthy 1.5 million viewers.
In a press release, network president Michael Wright said, "King of the Nerds demonstrates the power of nerd culture by drawing not only a fervent fan base but also the youngest audience of any current TBS original. We look forward to building on that success as more viewers discover this terrific competition series."
Season 3 of King of the Nerds will return in early 2015, though no premiere date has been scheduled at this time.

I am glad it will be on for another season. I thought the first 2 seasons were funny.

I'm tired of the stunts and reality tv. This is another case of a dumb show not getting cancelled! Bring back the comedies!

At first I liked how they made fun the nerds without them knowing. As time went on and the the nerds themselves said the were smart I started to lose interest. If the "nerds" were smart they would have realized they were being made fun of. Vin Diesel is a major D&D player, nobody thinks of him as a nerd. Harrison Ford was IN Star Wars, nobody thinks of him as a nerd. The only reason they are "nerds" is because they choose to identify as one. If the show got real people on then I might watch it.

I didn't watch first season but saw 2nd one. Cool show and it's nice that it got a pickup. Nerds Rule lol.
