ABC announced today that Extreme Weight Loss has been renewed for a fifth season. The summer reality series, which documents obese people's year-long journey of weight reduction, is currently enjoying its highest ratings in over two seasons.
The network has ordered 13 more 2-hour episodes for next summer, which will include three 'special editions' with the moniker Love Can't Weight. In these episodes, Chris and Heidi Powell will help couples get in shape for each of their upcoming weddings.

It's not unrealistic at all. HE gives you the equipment and nutrition training on how to live a healthier life. It's up to the person who "asked" for his help to make it happen with the tools given.

He sets unrealistic goals for his people and insists it's his way, or the highway. I wonder how many clients keep even half their weight off? Thumbs down.
