The comedy is pulled after two episodes.
July 23, 2014
The CW has pulled new comedy Seed from its schedule, effectively cancelling the series in the states after only two episodes. The Canadian-based comedy, now in its second season up north, debuted on The CW as part of its summer schedule, but failed to draw significant viewership over its first two weeks.

I'm really surprised that the show made it to a second season. I watched the pilot and thought it was horrible... then I gave the second episode a shot and all it was good for was putting me to sleep.

Sometimes, Shows that are really, really, really bad go on for years. CSI, Bones, Law and Order, American Idol, Survivor, Big Brother, Greys anatomy...

Guys, shows can fail for reasons other than "the viewers are idiots". Some shows that succeed in one country bomb in another. It happens. Sometimes the timing just isn't right and that's a shame, but that's how TV works out sometimes.

I honestly have never heard of this show. I am guessing most people have never heard of it. I assume it has some quality which would explain why it failed in the US.

Seed is a show about a man who donated "seed" to a sperm bank and now 2 of his "seeds" come looking for him.
