The drama will not return for Season 4.
October 10, 2014
CBS has cancelled Unforgettable after three seasons, marking the second time the network has axed the show. The first cancellation came after Season 1 in 2012 but the network ended up reversing its decision shortly after and brought it back as a summer series in 2013 where it fared better. Season 3 aired in the summer once again this year but ratings dipped, likely factoring into the decision not to continue with a fourth season.
Unforgettable joins Reckless as two CBS summer series that will not be returning. Back next summer will be Under the Dome and Extant.

I can't say I'm overly surprised at this, since it was cancelled once before then revived to be a summer show for 2 more seasons though combined it had the same episode count as the first season.
Personally I didn't like the fact that during season 2 they were taken to a new area and it seemed like they were pretty much forced to move there. Since the move there has been no story I could see that followed Carrie trying to figure out just what happened to Rachel, not to mention no talk about her mother who she was with a good portion of the first season.
It was like things that were laid down in the first season were forgotten and they just moved them to a new location and had her use her ability to solve crimes. Not to mention besides Webster the rest of the cast was replaced with other people. I liked the people from season 1, the summer series while watchable I didn't feel as much of a connection with them as a group.
It got revived once, I don't think its going to happen again at the very least they didn't leave it on some big cliff hanger just the unanswered question of what really happened to Rachel.

this is one of my favourite shows! you cant cancel it!! carrie & al still have to get back together , this sucks I agree with a comment below "the networks are most definitely not known for empathy of the viewers" & to what 'mitch' had to say the actors of big bang theory already make close to a million PER episode , how rich do they have to be! I think this is ridiculous & should most definitely be re-considered! especially as a summer show, theres no other good shows on in the summer..

Thanks John, just got up @4am and hadn't had my coffee yet. Got in on the end of a discussion and went from there. A lot of hyper critical folks out there with nothing better to do than criticize others. I never have trusted the Nielsen's. There must be a better way, but not sure what it might be. @Bub.....have a nice day!

No @John... it MOSTLY favored ABC, but not EXCLUSIVELY ABC. And even so... Jay Dee's comment was even more so unwarranted due to that. I'm not the uninformed person here.

@bub,
The Neilson error favoured shows on ABC. Unforgettable is a CBS show. Check your facts and look in the mirror before referring to others as 'morons'.

Now @Jay Dees -- if your'e going to give such information you may want to give ALL the CORRECT information. The Neilson error made shows look MORE popular than they actually may be. That DOES NOT compute to cancelations, that computes to keeping bad shows. Seriously.. you might try READING more than just a headline, moron.

It was reported today 10-13-2014 that the Nielsens have been reporting bad numbers for the last seven months. Makes you wonder how many programs we lost, might not have been for their stupidity.

This was the perfect summer show. They should've kept it on. I agree with a lot of the posts here...reality tv stinks. Not too many decent shows left. I liked the characters on this show and I'm sad to see it was cancelled. Who makes these decisions anyways?!?!
