It is being reported that Mom has been renewed for a third season. The Chuck Lorre comedy was picked up today along with Mike & Molly for the 2015-2016 television season. Currently midway through Season 2, Mom is pulling in series high ratings for the network, where it airs on Thursday nights.

Personally, I don't understand this shows popularity. The acting is terrible and the stories ridiculous. Yes, I watch the show, but mainly as background noise whilst doing other things.
