The dramedy will not return.
March 18, 2015
It is being reported that Taxi Brooklyn has been cancelled by NBC after one season. The freshman dramedy aired for 12 episodes last summer but failed to draw a substantial number of viewers in its Wednesday night time slot.
The network hasn't officially commented on the show's future, but with its absence from nbc.com's list of current shows and star Chyler Leigh recently joining the cast of CBS' upcoming Supergirl, it is clear that Taxi Brooklyn will not be returning.

Very disappointed. You start watching a show that is enjoyable, left hanging. It was good entertainment, I just sick of starting a show and never knowing what happens. I just watched it on Netflix. All you guys care about is money. Well you lost me I'm tired of this happening and will not be watching anything in the future you start!!!

I enjoyed this show, another season would have given it a chance to be marketed to
more people. Maybe another day / time slot. The actors and storylines kept me engaged.
One season was not enough.

Every time it seems that the networks come out with a new show/series about police or fire it only last 1-2 seasons. I thought this was a great mystery show. I hope another network picks it up or if nbc get's enough emails to bring the show back for at least one more season. Believe it hurt due to time slot and what ABC and NBC was running during the same time period.

I'm surprised this show lasted 12 episodes. I mean, really, watching Chyler Leigh throw 4 temper tantrums in an hour and continually make stupid decisions is entertainment? Actually, the script writers should be the ones to be cancelled, and they shouldn't have the opportunity to write any more miserable story lines like the ones in this series.

If it doesn't work on one night maybe it will on another night. They don't even try to find a time when it will work for any of us. Apparently we don't matter.

I am getting more and more disgusted with NBC! It started with Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. This was a TERRIFIC show! It got a lot of press, My co-workers all talked about it the day after, and I just loved it. But NBC axed it....even though the ratings weren't bad! Go figure...and if you can figure NBC's motives out, run for the woods, you're thinking backwards!
The list of quality NBC shows that have been axed has been long - waaaay too long for my liking! They want loyalty from their viewing audience, but don't respect our judgement when we DO like a show. I'm done with NBC - I can't take the ongoing disappointment with their axe...
