No Season 2 for the new comedy.
May 15, 2015
Fox has cancelled Weird Loners after one season. The freshman comedy premiered in late March for a short six-episode season but failed to attract an audience. Its ratings among adults 18-49 ranked as the lowest for a prime time series on one of the Big 4 broadcast networks.

Fox is one of my favorite tv networks. I don't recall seeing one commercial promoting this show.

I watched all six episodes and thought that only two were any good for comedy (the second and the last). Seems to me that the writers had some trouble deciding what they wanted this show to be as everything seemed so disjointed. "Big Bang Theory" and "Undateable" do the type of sitcom where socially awkward people hang out together really well. The only other thing I liked about this show was that it was more palatable than "Friends With Better Lives".

I think that any show needs more than six episodes to see if people are going to watch. This show wasn't on long enough for people to watch. It was OK but I figured it wasn't going to last. Two of the actors in it start on shows that usually get cancelled.
