The new comedy is pulled from the schedule.
February 9, 2016
It is being reported that CBS has cancelled Angel From Hell after just five episodes. The freshman comedy, which starred Jane Lynch, drew modest ratings in its Thursday night time slot, but ultimately fell short of expectations.
Beginning February 18, new episodes of 2 Broke Girls will be taking over on Thursdays at 9:30pm. Until then, a repeat of The Big Bang Theory will air in its place this week.

Not sure why people are saying Maggie (not Meggie) Lawson is cursed. As Tony pointed out, she was on Psych for 8 years (starting in the second episode I believe) and that only ended fairly recently. Being on a show for 8 years hardly means you are cursed. As far as this show is concerned, good riddance. Keep Jane Lynch off TV for a while. Her shtick is almost as old as she is.

The thing about Kyle is that he isn't even a bad actor. he is decent funny and i don't really dislike the guy. but the guy just can't catch a break neither does Meggie apparently i'm still keeping my fingers crossed so his curse doesn't reach Playing House because i really love that show.

Pope.....Maggie Lawson was on "Psych" for many years.....and it was a hit. You clearly have zero idea of what you're talking about. Plus....please learn to spell. It would help add legitimacy to your arguments....if people knew you were somewhat educated.

well they paid for the show. and then they cancel it , I would still show the final filmed episodes. Many shows have done this. Now those eps are just lost money.

The final coffin nail was when Ginger Gonzaga started showing up in episodes... along with Lawson and Bornheimer -- she was the third in the tell-tale "actors whose shows never survive" :)

I'm agree with some of you. I liked the show. I love Maggie Lawson and Kyle Bornheimer. Every time I like a show, it gets canceled. I feel like a jinx. :(

i agree with Pope. Kyle is cursed. as soon as i watched him on this show i thought. oh! this is gonna get cancelled.

You really didn't need to even watch this to know it would be cancelled.... 1) Kyle Bornheimer -- every sitcom he appears gets canceled (I loved Worst Week). 2) Same for Maggie Lawson -- now I like both these actors, so it's not MY preference, it's the facts :) And 3) Jane Lynch is just not funny. She's a SUPPORTING character and not a lead character. Never has been . Admittedly I was not a "Glee" watcher, but the only thing I've seen decent that had Jane Lynch in it was Taledega Nights - where again it was a supporting role, not a lead role. and 4) Kevin Pollak - nothing against him personally I just think his acting skills are... well... So.. Even without ever tuning in I knew this would be killed. After watching the show.. it was okay... but skirted the line too much about whether or not "Amy" was actually an angle or just a nut ball. I get the dilemma the writers/producers were trying to convey... but it would have been better if she just seemed like a nut ball that occasionally guessed something correct.. but then.. why would highly educated doctors ever tolerate the nut ball in their lives? Just made no sense. The professions were to elevated... and the crazy no crazy enough. Reset this with a waitress and her brother living in her garage and THEY meet Amy.. then yeah.. it may have worked.

Clayton check out Free Form it use to be ABC Family. Baby Daddy is what I think you'd be looking for. Either that or Disney channel or Nickelodeon. They actually do pretty decent shows that are well written and funny but none of them constantly smacking you in the face with dirty jokes. As for cancelations a couple episodes in we live in a time where you can get great entertainment for little money and effort.
I use Hulu, Amazon prime, CBS all access pass app, Funimation streaming service, and crackle.
All amazing! crackle is free and has original series only found their. Amazon prime is 99$ for a year of its streaming service and you get free 2 day shipping on any purchases and great shows. like Mad Dogs or Bosch only found their. Hulu is 7$ a month and for 2$ more its commercial free and you get all the great networks except CBS. Also some original series like deadbeat. Netflix is awesome and has the most original content you can't find anywhere else like longmire, Hemlock Grove, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and an up and coming Punisher series. It does cost the most though.
Favorite part of streaming all my shows other then how much cheaper it is definetly is not having to fight my DVR to record everything thing, having someone cancel something while I'm not their, and not having the end of all my shows missing cause they started late or went a little longer then they should of.
