Amazon Studios announced today that Mozart in the Jungle has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore dramedy, which is one of a growing slate of originals from the streaming service, recently garnered attention for its two wins at this year's Golden Globe Awards including Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy.

Production on the next season of Mozart in the Jungle is slated to start later this year. If the series sticks to the release schedule of its first two seasons, we could see a Season 3 premiere this December.
