The martial arts drama will return for Season 2.

AMC announced today that Into the Badlands has been renewed for a second season. The freshman martial arts drama is coming off a successful 6-episode debut season where it averaged 5.6 million total viewers when factoring in three days of delayed viewing. The series aired late last year following The Walking Dead.
The cable network is increasing the episode count for Season 2 of Into the Badlands, ordering 10 episodes for the show's return, which is not expected until 2017.

10 eps?? that sucks!!! I get that it's not an intellectually stimulating show, but it's so much fun to watch (shaw Bros.)!!!

It was pretty cheesy. The horrible acting really started overshadowing the wire work by episode 3. I got bored.. quit watching. Good luck with seasons 2.. not wasting my time on it.

Surprised at this. I thought it was underwhelming, and poorly acted and thought for sure it was a goner.
