I'm glad they're ending it. It just wouldn't be the same without Beckett. I think the people who are really upset about this need to blame her leaving rather than blaming the network. I read that Fillion and Katic actually REALLY didn't like each other and that may have contributed to her departure.
But guys, I did read that the show had produced 2 finales, one if they were cancelled and another if they were renewed, so it should be a good ending.

I just hope they didn't plan on ending with a cliff-hanger that would be so unfair to those who watched from the start.

ABC is cutting off it's nose to spite its face! Castle is one of ABC's best shows -- BAD MOVE!!!! I will miss my Castle fix every Monday nite!!! Bet whatever replaces it won't get the audience that Castle did. ABC you better wake up!!!

All I have to say is it better end proper or I will be SO PISSED! This deserved another season, it is better than Law and Order SVU and that shows been on for ages.

Don't shoot me, pls. I love Castle, but a new season without Beckett was pointless IMO. I think that this decision is the best one.

This season has been lacklustre with the whisy washy story with castle and beckitt keeping secrets from one another. I wish they were given ample time to close off any loose ends, and maybe bring back the "time travelling" guy.

Nooo! Castle is one of my fav shows ever! Sad to see it go...especially since it had gotten good again. Wasn't a fan of the "disappearing/amnesiac Castle" & ~really~ wasn't a fan of the "Castle can't work cases with us" storylines, but with the second one resolved, it was well on it's way (already there in my opinion) back to being one of the best shows on tv. It would have been interesting to see how they handled Beckett's absence. I just hope they had some foresight this may have been the end & gave us a finale without major cliffhangers.
{sidebar: one thing Castle does have working against it is the actress who plays Alexis. She is really, truly, unbelievably bad at acting. Just forced, stiff, monotone, doesn't know what to do with her hands awful. Each time she comes on the screen, it pulls me out of the story bc I have to think about how bad she is...for the millionth time. She is very beautiful, but at this point, she needs to be seen not heard.}

Good tbh... Is anyone really surprised by this? It was a good show and had a good run BUT since Beckett left/was leaving what would be the point of continuing? Yeah, the show is called "Castle" but it just wouldn't make sense to be just him w/o her. That's like bones without booth or vice versa, mulder without scully, abbie without ichabod - SH is next on that cut list :) just don't make sense man. So, sad to see it go but tbh it's for the best.

I am very disappointed that this show is being cancelled. I love it! I think is one of the best shows out there! Being it back and pay Stana what she deserves!
