Heartbeat was a Great show!!! Excellent characters with great acting and writing. Every episode made me cry! I wish NBC would rethink this decision!

My heart goes out to people loosing one of their few escapes they enjoy. I thought about watching cause I love Melissa George ever since she did Hunted on Cinemax but I was skeptical of the shows survival.
Please don't blame reality shows for poor performing shows with bad ratings. A genre that has nothing to do with a scripted series isn't to blame. Their just cheap replacements that get high ratings for the budget. The profits from reality shows don't compare to a hit scripted series with a big audience of young 18 - 29 year old viewers. Also maybe stop watching them so much.
When reruns of Supernatural on TNT in the morning get higher ratings then a new prime time series it's time to take it outback and put it down cause it's literally driving viewers away from the network.

watched one episode and went - hey I think I might like this, so just DVR'd the rest to find out if it was going to stick around, it isn't so time to clean up some space - I am bummed but at least I am not invested!

I love this show. I look forward to seeing it every week. Its so intense and filled with drama yet it has heart. Every time there is a great show that I like the execs cancel it. Make it a summer replacement but dont cancel it. Just like saving hope,at least now I get to watch all five seasons on the Ion channel. I am SICK of REALITY TV.

I watched a couple of episodes and have the rest on DVR which I will now delete. Why bother getting attached to another cancelled show.

This just shows nbc exactly what we've been screaming for years now. We don't want to watch gay people. If you keep making shows that overemphasize homosexuality than we won't watch it. Keep your transgender breast cancer in the bathroom where it belongs.

Imagine a Grey's Anatomy spin off with Sandra Oh's character as the lead. That's what NBC gave us. Good show but there's a glut of these kind of medical dramas right now.
