The action drama will end after one season.
May 16, 2016
CBS has cancelled Rush Hour after just one season. The action drama, which is inspired by the popular film franchise of the same name, has failed to find a sizable audience through its first seven episodes.
The show is expected to continue in its Thursday night time slot for the remainder of the season, with now six episodes left in its run.

Whoever green lite this show at CBS should also be fired along with the cancelling, so they dont bring to the screen another turd like this one.

I really didn't like this show and predicted it's cancellation from the moment I saw the commercial. I'm just sorta disappointed because my mom really enjoyed it, somehow... The worst thing about 'Rush Hour' for me was Chan's 'lil sister subplot. BO-RING. (Also @Pope, It was Chris Tucker not Chris Rock in the original movies)

I'm not surprised it was cancelled, I could tell watching the 1st episode that it would end up cancelled. The acting/comedy is really bad, the plots are pretty dull, the action is lacking. I put it on as background noise mostly. I just don't get why they'd make a 'Rush Hour' tv show with the two main cast members being nobody's imo who are bad actors on top of it. Years ago, CBS did another similar show called 'Martial Law' starring Sammo Hung and Arsenio Hall. That show was tons better than 'Rush Hour'! Of course, back then that show was cancelled too, but it had much better action and acting! So if CBS was gonna do a Black and Asian cop pair show again, CBS should have just brought back 'Martial Law' instead.

I watched a couple... horrible attempt to recreate chemistry Rock and Chan had... the new cast just didn't have it.Things were CLEARLY forced making the entire thing fall apart for me.

Of course they did! It was a fun family show that we could all watch. I'm so frustrated!

Best idea I have heard today. It should have never been made just like CBS passed on The Beverly Hills Cop show. Movies to TV series are dumb. ABC Please cancel the Uncle Buck show before it even airs.

Good! Not sure why the did this to begin with. Especially with Chan and Tucker both being on board with doing a Rush Hour 4, why would they confuse things by having them being portrayed by other actors? Really dumb move to create this show. Glad they woke up.
