CBS announced today that The Odd Couple has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore buddy comedy, which is the latest screen production of the 1965 play, has been a steady performer for the network as a mid-season replacement.
CBS will likely keep the show as a mid-season entry for the 2016-2017 season.

I enjoy this show. Most of the shows on television don't make the cut; this one does.

Not the best, but not bad, often quite good! Writing is sharp, Matthew Perry (finally) seems to be relaxed and always hits it out of the park with his lines -- Thomas Lennon makes the show, his Felix seems an homage to Tony Randall's and then takes it up a notch.

it's a fun show. the original had two great actors. that show was a classic , this isn't but it's still funny and I am glad it's coming back.

I absolutely love this show. I was looking forward to it coming on when I first heard about it and I still look forward to each episode. It is one of the few network shows I actually watch. Matthew Perry is the best, I'm glad CBS is sticking it out with him instead of giving up on him like what happened in his last two shows.

All I can say is WOW! CBS obviously has tons of money because this show is not good. I didn't even make it past episode 1 of the first season. Although "I'm too old" I'd agree with The Grinder, that was actually OK and Rob Lowe making fun of himself kinda worked along with the return of Fred Savage, who I thought was good. Undateable; however, started sinking fast I like the first season then it just kept going down.

Loved the original. Tried to watch this version a few different times...Can't...it's not natural..too forced...too predictable. Can't believe this survives while Mysteries of Laura, Undateable and The Grinder are axed...oh that's right my demographic doesn't matter... Why not? We earn more than the under 18 and comparable to the 18-49s. Hey advertisers the over 50 demographic is the fastest growing and we SPEND $$$ too! You should program for us we grew up on the "tube" the youngsters don't have our habit I mean loyalty to viewing weekly.

Ok Ragnarok I really hope that was sarcasm, this is not an original show and is not refreshing. This is literally a remake of an old show. It's terrible, it's predictable comedy which is the worst. Actual original shows get cancelled and they keep crap like this. I even like Matthew Perry but can't stand this show. NOT funny.

If you ever watched the original series, a person, like I,would say that this is taken to the current year and it's perfect! Old & new ages should flow with what's going on!
