No Season 2 for the movie-based drama.
May 25, 2016
CBS has cancelled Limitless after its first season. The news comes a week after the freshman drama was left off the network's 2016-2017 schedule, though at the time executives stated they were exploring moving the series to another network.
Confirmation of Limitless' cancellation came this afternoon from showrunner Craig Sweeny, who took to Twitter with the news:
"I'm truly sad to report that #Limitless will not continue on any platform. Thanks so much to everyone who watched."

That sucks, it wasn't the best show ever made but it was fun and enjoyable. I really enjoyed how they would do crazy themed episodes. Oh well

Agreed. I have said this before, but they should start using Disqus. It's a good message platform and would be a perfect fit for this site, especially now that this place is getting more popular.

Lol, I didn't see the @WB in your post, I didn't know what it meant. They really need to make this a discussion board, where you can reply to someone, so there isn't a mix up of who you are responding to.

Re-read my post. First part was for you, second part was for someone named WB who oddly said "What's next for Debra Messing".

I loved this show. I even loved the music at the closing credits. It will be missed. Those very long zoom techniques were fun to see. I want some NZT and the antidote to the side effects. That would be a blast.

Bummer. The show had promise. There are a number of shows that started off on the fun, free-spirited, or silly side, and then got quite serious as those shows progressed. Sliders comes to mind. They could have explained why Brian was always hallucinating; because he was also a pot smoker. Bradley Cooper's character would probably need to leave the story line. Oh Well.

Ragnarok: When did I mention Debra Messing? Jennifer Carpenter, who is an excellent actress was the female lead. If you haven't seen her in "The Exorcism of Emily Rose", you should. But, I don't know where you got Debra Messing. She is from the recently cancelled "The Mysteries of Laura", which I didn't care for, I couldn't stand her kids. So, that must be why no one called me on it, you must have got met mixed up with someone else's post. Wait, I see a "WB" who posted on 5/26/16, who mentioned Debra Messing.

I think that limitless was the best new show last season and because cbs took it off the schedule that does not leave much on the network that i like so i will now stop watching cbs altogether

Greg... there wasn't a "storyline" they were individual "canned" episodes with 5 minutes at the beginning and 5 minutes at the end to tie them together... that's not a "storyline" that's a formula... and its the SAME formula EVERY network cop/legal/detective show follows.
